Friday 13th June saw seven members enjoy wines from Greece, U.S.A., South Africa, Moldova, Italy and Spain. A diverse selction of wines from around the world providing much to talk about and enjoy. The most popular wine of the evening was a Cabernet Sauvignon produced by Chateau Vartley in Moldova, brought by Ian and scoring a whopping 13.86 overall. To celebrate this lovely wine and Ian’s excellent choice Ian has opted to have a themed night on the 27 June – “Wines from France excluding wines from the Côtes du Rhône region.”
