A great evening was had by all four. We enjoyed wines from Portugal, Greece, Argentina and Spain with an additional bottle, courtesy of Wayne from New Zealand. All of the wines were highly rated with the most popular wine being Wayne’s Spanish Monastrell from the Alicante region. The surprise wine of the evening was Alan’s Greek Syrah from the Pelopennese region. The evening finished with a glass or two of Port accompanied by Stilton courtesy of Talbot.
Our secretary, Jim, was unable to make it to the evening due to a last minute injury and illness. Get well soon Jim !!
