For the last meeting before Christmas and the last one of 2025 we donned our best Christmas Jumpers for a bumper meeting of 9 members enjoying wines with a “southern” theme. The most popular wine of the evening amongst a high scoring evening was Diablo Purple Malbec from Chile courtesy of Wayne scoring a 15.89. This was very closely followed by a South African Roodenberg Black scoring 15.33 brought by our Chairman Jim who kindly supplied a fine bottle of Tawny Port to finish the evening’s get together. Hot on Jim’s heels was a South African Bokenhoutskloof, Cabernet Sauvignon blend scoring 15.11, courtesy of Tony.
