19 Crimes, 5 Members

19 Crimes, 5 Members

This week’s meeting saw members enjoy the return of 19 Crimes – with a twist. This Australian wine had been very popular with members when it first made an appearance at the society back in October 2018. In recent years it seems to have been neglected. Its return as a “19 Crimes Dark Red” made from Shiraz, Grenache and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes saw it become the most popular wine of the evening scoring a very creditable 14.2 overall. The wine was provided by our Secretary Wayne.

The remaining wines from Argentina, France and the U.S.A. also scored highly and were enjoyed by all present. The evening was rounded off with a glass of Port courtesy of our pourer for the evening, Stuart. Full details of the wines sampled can be found here…

Let the tasting begin !
