This week we enjoyed an Indian Takeaway arranged, collected and delivered by our Secretary, Wayne. Our Scribe, Talbot, provided Rose to accompany the food. A fantastic start to the evening before starting the serious task of sampling the members selected wines. Due to the large number of members attending we partnered up with a fellow member, both providing the same wine, so that we could enjoy a suitable portion of each wine to fully assess it.
We sampled wines from Portugal, Spain, Chile, the U.S.A. and Australia. The most popular wine of the evening being a Spanish red, a “Mucho Mas”, courtesy of our Chairman, Jim.
